Wackiest Attractions: Carhenge

Western Nebraska's automotive replica of England's famed Stonehenge has been named the No. 2 wackiest attraction in America by TripAdvisor.
Carhenge

Located in Alliance, Nebraska, rather than being built with large standing stones, as is the case with the original Stonehenge, Carhenge is formed from vintage American automobiles, all covered with gray spray paint.

Carhenge

Carhenge consists of 38 automobiles arranged in a circle measuring about 95 feet in diameter. Some are held upright in pits about 5 feet deep, trunk end down, and arches have been formed by welding automobiles atop the supporting models. The heelstone is a 1962 Cadillac.

Carhenge was beat out of the top spot by the #1 wackiest attraction: the Toilet Seat Museum (Alamo Heights, Texas), where more than 700 decorated toilet seat lids are displayed.
