Gum Wrapper Chain Named Top Stunt
World's Longest Gum Wrapper Chain Named The Decade's Top Stunt by Guinness World Records
Guinness World Records said today that a Virginia man's constantly growing chewing gum wrapper chain was named the top stunt of the past decade.
Gary Duschl of Virginia Beach used 1,462,066 gum wrappers currently extend almost 62,000 feet long and weighs in at 806 pounds. Duschl has made $95,911 for the gum and spent more than 22,000 hours putting the chain together.
Duschl began his gum wrapper chain in 1965, and plans to have the chain reach 26 miles in length.
