Giorgio Armani unveils $1,000 Samsung Windows Mobile smartphone.
Giorgio Armani and Samsung have unveiled a $1,000 luxury mobile phone. The legendary fashion designer explained that the high-end device "combined beauty with function" in a simple and timeless way.
"Today more than ever, elegant dressing is part of daily business life. When Samsung asked me to design the new business and lifestyle smartphone I decided to use my fashion aesthetic to create it," Armani said.
The phone, which would make even the Great Gatsby blush, features a 3.5 inch AMOLED touch-screen, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 and a QWERTY keyboard hybrid. The device also offers 7.2Mbps HSDPA, WiFi access, Bluetooth, FM Radio, TV-Out, GPS navigation, a 5-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory (expandable to 32GB).
