Cyber Quad Vertical Take-Off Drone
Small unmanned aerial aircraft (UAV) provides wireless control and video surveillance

The Cyber Quad vertical take-off drone with built-in video camera has been tested to survey an offshore drilling platform damaged by fire. The wireless machine was able to fly throughout the structure and land on the deck, continuously visually taping the damage. The machine was produced by Cyber Technology, and can also carry sensors to detect gases such as pollutants or chemical warfare agents.

The ability to land the CyberQuad on the various levels of the platform where the main damage occurred gave engineers and disaster control experts the ability to see the extent of the structural damage visually,” Andrea James, head of Communications at Cyber Technology told Danger Room.
