An entry at the Designboom/ MACEF competition, the “Mapuguaquén” (meaning “sound of the earth”) by Chilean designer Pablo Ocqueteau is a speaker system that is made in clay on a traditional potter’s wheel.

Based on the theme “the intelligent hand,” the speaker system looks more like a piece of art than a gadget, decorating contemporary spaces.
