Cell Phone Car Starter
Wireless car starter project starts car using a cell phone

Fed up with his frigid car, Aaron installed a remote starter to warm the car up before he got to it. This didn’t help at his work because his car was parked several hundred feet from his office - outside the range of his OEM starter. Aaron decided to make his starter work with GSM so he could start his car with a phone call from any distance.
After some research, Aaron found a GSM switch that just needs an activated SIM to work. When called, it reads the incoming phone number for authentication, then starts the car.
